Community Fundraiser

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £23,988 - £27,522 (plus excellent benefits)

St John Cymru-Wales is Wales’ first aid charity. With over 4000 volunteers, it provides emergency first aid, deliver medical cover at events and train people of all ages in vital first aid skills so they can make a difference in times of need.

We are looking for a talented community fundraiser who has proven experience of working with donors and volunteers. In what is a new role, this is an exciting opportunity to build on your volunteer management skills and play a key part in helping to shape and deliver our community fundraising programme across Wales. 

As the Community Fundraiser, you will oversee the development and implementation of a volunteer delivered community fundraising plan. You should be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage a range of supporters and volunteers to promote the work and vision of St John Cymru Wales through the delivery of local and national fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

Divisional Finance Administrator

Location: Cardiff

Permanent 35 hours per week

Salary: £17,928 – £18,685 per annum (negotiable for the right candidate) plus excellent benefits package

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our small but dynamic and dedicated finance team. The successful applicant will provide financial management and administration support to our volunteers and must have sound financial knowledge and a minimum of two years’ experience working within a finance team.  There will occasionally be the requirement to work outside of normal hours (9am – 5pm) on evenings and weekends, therefore flexibility is key.

If you have exceptional MS Excel skills and possess the following qualities, then we want to hear from you;

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team

• Excellent telephone manner
