Resource Co-ordinator 
Salary £19,695

Full Time 35 hours per week.   35 hours until 30th March 2018 with the possibility of 17.5 hours from 1st April 2018
 
St John Wales is seeking a motivated and qualified Resource Co-ordinator with a passion for organization and the aspiration to make a difference. The post holder will have experience in resource allocation and calendaring of diaries.
 
The ability to speak welsh will be an advantage.

Manager of People

St John Cymru-Wales is Wales’ first aid charity. With over 4,000 volunteers and 200 staff supported by commercial training, event management and ambulance services, we are a complex and diverse group offering a really exciting challenge to the right person.

The People Services Manager will be responsible for assisting the Director of People in the people management activity for St John Cymru Wales, supporting employees and volunteers. This activity encompasses:

·         Human resources

·         Volunteer membership support

·         Health & safety

The People Services Manager will ensure that operational activity in the HR and Volunteering teams runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. This will include effective resource planning, recruitment, employee/volunteer relations, performance management, administration, training and development.

To be considered for this role you will have significant experience in a generalist HR role. A relevant first degree or equivalent is required and membership of the CIPD/equivalent level of experience. You will also be able to demonstrate the range of skills and abilities essential to effective people relations including outstanding communication, influencing and interpersonal skills as well as a good knowledge of relevant legislation.

Morris Ambulance Support Volunteer

 

We are looking for a driver/drivers to support on our Centenary Project across Wales on an adhoc basis for events.

Responsible for assisting the Community Engagement Officer with transport of our Morris WW1 Ambulance Evocation to events and activities across Wales, as required during 2018.

 
Description of tasks: 
 
This role would suit an experienced driver with a passion for the charity and its heritage.  We need volunteers willing to support our centenary community engagement project by driving a vehicle, which will tow our Morris Ambulance to events, schools and exhibitions during 2018. In addition we will require you to learn how to drive the heritage vehicle for parking and positioning purposes and talk to the public about the vehicle when at eventsResponsible for assisting the Community Engagement Officer with transport of our Morris WW1 Ambulance Evocation to events and activities across Wales as required during 2018
