Sales Executive (North Wales)

St John Cymru Wales is seeking a Sales Executive to join our busy team.

We are looking for someone with experience in new business acquisition and account management. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and will enjoy dealing with people in a friendly and professional manner.

Freelance Trainer (Casual basis)

To cover all of North Wales, including Wrexham, Llandudno & Abergele

As St John Cymru grows and develops we are seeking motivated and qualified trainers with a passion for teaching and the aspiration to make a difference. The post holders will have Level 3 Award in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning, and will have delivered a minimum of 3 courses in the last year, eg: First Aid at Work including any Health and Safety Courses and hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

The ability to speak Welsh will be an advantage.

You will be part of the commercial training team tasked with generating income in order to support the organisation’s charitable works as well as supporting the Charity’s vision of there being a First Aider in Every Home in Wales. Volunteer Community Engagement Administrator

Location: Cardiff NHQ

St John Cymru Wales is Wales’ leading first aid charity. With over 4000 volunteers we provide emergency first aid, deliver medical cover at events and train people of all ages in vital first aid skills, so they can make a difference in times of need.

The role of the Training Department is to oversee the training of First aid within the workplace; training for businesses, community and schools training our volunteers.

We are currently seeking a volunteer to provide routine administrative support to help with general admin duties and with the build up to our Save a Life September 2019 campaign.  The person required will need to be IT proficient (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), be organised and thorough, with good attention to detail.  You will be a good communicator and enjoy the challenges of an interesting and varied role. 

Typical tasks include updating databases, producing certificates, helping to organise events for the campaign, compiling merchandise packs, and communicating with members and delegates via telephone and email.

The post is based at National Headquarters in Cardiff and will be 17-35 hours per week over the summer period
