Digital and Marketing Manager

Location: Cardiff

Salary: £24,591 - £28,214

Contract: Permanent

St John Cymru Wales is Wales’ leading first aid charity. With over 4000 volunteers, we provide emergency first aid,deliver medical cover at events and train people of all ages in vital first aid skills so they can make a difference intimes of need.
This varied position will cover all areas of marketing and promotion, including designing, developing and maintaining the Charity’s branding, digital presence, assisting with the launch of the new website, developing and delivering exciting marketing campaigns and related activities.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of managing successful marketing campaigns that engage with audiences across a range of channels. It is essential that you possess up-to-date knowledge of social media channels as well as extensive experience of creating and curating engaging and interactive content. You will have a working knowledge of websites and social media as well as experience of producing a variety of print materials.  Demonstrable experience in graphic design as well as the use of content management systems is essential to this position.

Trainer (Casual basis)

To cover all of North Wales, including Wrexham, Llandudno & Abergele

As St John Cymru grows and develops we are seeking motivated and qualified trainers with a passion for teaching and the aspiration to make a difference. The post holders will have Level 3 Award in Teaching, Training and Assessing Learning, and will have delivered a minimum of 3 courses in the last year, eg: First Aid at Work including any Health and Safety Courses and hold a valid First Aid at Work Certificate.

The ability to speak Welsh will be an advantage.

We can offer a great place to work, the scope to make a difference and competitive benefits. You will be part of the commercial training team tasked with generating income in order to support the organisation’s charitable works as well as supporting the Charity’s vision of there being a First Aider in Every Home in Wales. Applicants will be provided with additional training and on-going development opportunities.
