Our fundraising promise and supporter care standards

St John Cymru work hard to ensure that exceptional standards of supporter care are delivered across its supporter base at all times.

Thanks to our supporters we've been there for over 100 years for the people of Wales.

We are proud members of the Fundraising Regulator, an independent, non-statutory body which regulates fundraising across the charitable sector in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

As a member of the regulator, you will find us listed in their online directory and it also means we're committed to keeping 'The Fundraising Promise' and adhereing to The Fundraising Code.

However, should you encounter a breach of these rules, please do let us know, so we can resolve it and improve our fundraising efforts.

Make a complaint

If you would like to make a complaint or raise a concern about our fundraising, there are a few ways you can do so:

Contact the St John Cymru fundraising team if your concern relates to our fundraising activities please contact our complaints co-ordinator.

We will endeavour to resolve your concern as promptly and as amicably as possible. We will acknowledge your query within 14 days, investigate your concern within 30 days and advise you promptly of the outcome. You can see the full contact details below.

Contact The Fundraising Regulator who can investigate complaints about charitable fundraising where these cannot be resolved by the organisations themselves. They do so by considering whether the fundraising organisation has complied with the Code of Fundraising Practice (the Code), which outlines the legal requirements and best practice expected of all charitable fundraising organisations across the UK.

Contact the Charity Commission when your concerns centre around a serious risk of harm to the charity or people St John Cymru is set up to help. You can check if your complaint should be reported to the charity commission here.
